You can find all logo files in the gitlab repository dbp Corporate Identity.
The text on the right side of the Logo consists of two parts. A headline "digital blueprint" and a subheading "a university toolbox". More information for the brand name can be found here.
The logo on white must not be displayed on a different background than white(
The logo on black is allowed to be displayed on background, which has enough contrast(minimum contrast level of AA -
take a look at accessibility guide for more information about contrast levels) to the logo,
but the preferred background is True black (HEX
#222120 - instead of black).
The correct file depending on the background must be used: dbp_logo_on_white.svg [Fig. 1] or dbp_logo_on_black.svg [Fig. 2].
Placement and whitespace
The DBP logo is preferably placed in the upper left corner or in the middle of an area.
The logo must always be placed with sufficient padding. For the exact paddings see Fig. 5. For easier usage the logo in the file has exact these surrounding paddings.
The minimal height of the logo is 1 cm. // TODO proof this // If the logo should be placed smaller than 1 cm than only the squares should be displayed [Fig. 3][Fig. 4][Fig. 8][Fig. 9]. The minimal presentation of the squares are 0.5 cm.
The minimal height of the logo is 70 px. If the logo height should be smaller than 70 px than only the squares should be displayed [Fig. 3][Fig. 4][Fig. 8][Fig. 9]. The minimal presentation of the squares are 45 px.
There is also a monochrom set for white background provided of the logo. Depending on the background the correct file must be used: dbp_logo_monochrom_on_white.svg [Fig. 6] or dbp_logo_on_black.svg [Fig. 2].
The logo can adjust depending on some uses(e.g. creating an app icon). To adjust the logo we recommend the vector based open source program InkScape. If a logo is adjusted, the versions for both backgrounds(white, black) and also the monochrom versions(on white) have to be created.
If the logo is used in an application, which has an app icon[Apps], the small logo can be extended with that icon (e.g. Fig. 11) by placing the app icon in front of the squares and in the middle of the first square. How to do this and for the rules take a look at app icons.
All variations of the logo, all design elements are given in the following file formats: svg, pdf, eps.
